Abu is Mughal's son and wanted to marry Nya, Turghan's daughter. To reach his goal, he kidnapped Sam, who he thought was the most beautiful woman he had ever seen, in order to exchange her with Nya, but Turghan finally got Sam for some threats and three hundred doublons.

After some events, Abu and Nya could however get married while Sam was set free.
