Alekos was the first Chosen SG-1 met. He was in the temple with his wife, Thetys, because she was about to give birth, but the midwife was gone. It was then that the team came through the Stargate, which is located in this temple. Daniel therefore delivered the baby, and it is to thank him that the child would be called Dan'el (which the Chosen pronounce Daniel).

Alekos is eager to learn, and he said that, if he had thousands of days to live, he would explore Argos out of the bounds set by Pelops and teach to the youngsters what he would have learned during his journey.
