Ashrak

Ashrak is the Goa'uld word for Hunter. The Ashrak are assassins of the highest rank, serving the System Lords, who often send them to eliminate all who dare oppose their will. They are extremely trained and highly capable at what they do, often having at their disposal the most advanced technologies, such as the Harakash or phase-shifting devices.

Their symbiote seem to have a higher healing ability than the average. For instance, the Ashrak Cronus had sent to kill Jolinar had suffered in a Goa'uld attack: over 80% of the surface of his body was covered with third-degree burns, which would have killed a normal human. However, he did not die and not even presented any sign of infection. As a matter of fact, he had totally recovered in a matter of days or maybe even hours. He successfully pretended to be first a Nasyan, then a doctor and after that a soldier, before he was finally discovered since Daniel had seen him assuming two different identities. This Ashrak used a weapon which seems to have some interesting functions: the Harakash.

In another episode, an invisible Ashrak destroyed a base on the Alpha site where the Jaffa and the Tok'ra had both taken refuge, causing great havoc between these two races.
