Synopsis
O'Neill and SG-1 use the Stargate to reach Argos, where they meet a young woman who is about to have a baby.

The midwife is gone, so Daniel helps Thetys to give birth, and the team is heartily thanked and invited to a celebration in the village. They meet a civilization of happy young people, the Chosen, who enjoy life as long as the sun is shining and curiously fall asleep the exact moment it disappears below the horizon line.

More curious though is the speed the Chosen seem to get old: they live only a hundred days. This is more impressive still once O'Neill is affected after he was seduced by Kynthia, a beautiful woman from Argos.

The Colonel's hair is then getting white, and the rest of the team heads back to the SGC in order to find the causes and a cure to this phenomenon.Sam discovers what is responsible: microscopic robots, called nanites are present in the vascular system of the Chosen. They appear to be part of the experience Goa'uld Pelops, whom the Chosen believed to be a benevolant god.

SG-1 finds however no clue on how to stop these nanocytes, but they have to act quickly if they do not want O'Neill to die.
